With more than 30 years in the fitness industry, Catherine is a highly respected, multi-disciplinary trainer specialising in Pilates, functional fitness, and lifestyle coaching. Advanced certifications with Stott Pilates ®, Polestar Pilates ®, the Lagree Method ® and fitness underpin her dynamic, intelligent approach to movement.

Daily activities and exercise
Expect two to three full-body Reformer sessions each day, blending dynamic strength work with deep-release stretching and high-energy jumpboard classes—plus a daily mat Pilates session to support mobility and core control. You'll also be guided through restorative experiences including healing sound baths, fascia release self-massage, and a complimentary 60-minute massage to leave you feeling deeply relaxed.
Our retreats typically include thrilling day trips and outdoor adventures such as costal hikes, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling, boat trips, cultural tours and unforgettable sunsets in some of the world’s most iconic locations.
Expert guidance and individual attention
All our retreats are led by Pilates Master and fitness expert, Trainer Catherine Riding. With 30 years of experience, she has developed her unique dynamic Reformer method to optimise clients' results.
Expect carefully curated full-body workouts guaranteed to improve your strength, flexibility, and posture - realigning your body for optimal health. Class numbers are deliberately kept low to ensure you receive personalised, individual attention. At times, she may be assisted by other expert teachers to ensure you receive maximum guidance and correction.
The ultimate sanctuary for fitness and self-care
Whether you're looking to deepen your Pilates practice, get fitter, stronger, leaner and more flexible, or simply de-stress from daily life, our retreats provide the perfect sanctuary for improving your fitness, self-care and renewal. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a novice or a seasoned Pilates pro as you will be offered modifications appropriate to your fitness level and Reformer experience. However, it is strongly advised that you have a regular Reformer practice before joining one of our retreats in order to maximise your enjoyment.
Who attends our retreats
Our retreats are open to adults of all ages, fitness levels, and stages of Reformer Pilates experience — from those newer to the reformer through to more experienced practitioners. If you are a complete beginner, we strongly recommend taking a few Reformer sessions before attending. Arriving with a basic familiarity with the equipment and the fundamental movements will help you feel more confident in class and allow you to fully maximise your enjoyment and results during the retreat.
Each class is carefully guided with clear instruction, progressions, and thoughtful modifications, ensuring you can move at a level that feels right for your body. You are always encouraged to do as much or as little as you wish — whether you choose to embrace every class and activity or take time to rest, restore, and simply enjoy the surroundings, the experience is entirely yours.
We warmly welcome all genders, and the minimum age for guests is 18 years. Our retreats are particularly well-suited to solo travellers, as they naturally attract friendly, like-minded guests who share a genuine interest in health, wellbeing, and Reformer Pilates. This creates a relaxed and supportive environment where it is easy to connect and feel part of the group from the moment you arrive. Solo guests may book a private room or, if preferred, we are happy to match you with a same-sex roommate.
A typical day on retreat
While no two days are ever quite the same—and each retreat offers its own unique experiences—a sample day might look something like this:
Early morning: Energising, full-body Reformer Pilates session
Breakfast: Nourishing and delicious to fuel your day
Mid-morning: Activities such as scenic hikes, paddleboarding, massages, cultural excursions, or mat pilates
Lunch: Healthy and satisfying, enjoyed together
Afternoon: Free time to relax by the pool or beach, explore the local area, or book additional treatments
Late afternoon: A dynamic Reformer session followed by a restorative stretch or deep-release Reformer flow
Dinner: Shared evening meals designed to nourish body and soul
Evening: Wind down with sound baths, fascia release workshops, gentle yoga, or a sunset outing
